Problem
The client's main goal was to visually represent two different flows proposed for integration into the existing app. These flows demonstrate how GenAI can facilitate the creation of profiles for each persona.
Methodology
We chose to use design thinking to enhance our understanding and approach.
Discovery
To seamlessly integrate the new flows and design into the existing app, we first took the time to understand how the app operates and the personas it currently serves. We assessed how this new integration might impact these personas. Additionally, we met with the development team and Gen AI experts to understand any potential technological limitations we might encounter while designing the new flows.

Production
User Flows
To ensure the chatbot looked and worked perfectly, both designers created detailed user flows, defining each interaction with the Gen AI for a captivating experience.
We carefully mapped out both flows, tracing their development to a clear and unified path.
Low Fidelity Wireframes
Once we had clear user flows, we created low-fidelity wireframes to visualize screen spacing and design a seamless layout for both paths.
High Fidelity Wireframes
We utilized the client's design system to ensure the UI for this project stayed aesthetically consistent with their current app. By employing auto-layout for the primary script, we streamlined content management and minimized the impact on screen count and prototype structure.
Validation
Prototyping
For the prototype, I meticulously designed micro-interactions like the voicemail feature and developed interactive prototypes for both the tasker and asker flows.
Finally, we combined these prototypes into a single screen, creating a coherent and meaningful representation of the overall user flows.
Testing
We conducted the testing process with internal app clients and users in our studio. Feedback was gathered by recording semi-structured sessions, and we applied the insights to refine the flow and screens.
Delivery
Hand Off
At the conclusion of this project, we handed off all the necessary details and information to the development and Gen AI teams, ensuring they had everything required to implement the new flows into the existing app.
Learnings & Insights
In every project, I find it essential to evaluate what worked well and what could be improved. I focus on identifying lessons learned throughout the process and beyond, which help me grow as a designer.
